Covid-19 Greensville Security Update : 5th May
Pune being a red zone due to the high and rising number of cases, decision to continue the lockdown in Pune for two more weeks till 17-May was taken by the Maharashtra Government. At the same time it was decided to divide Pune into Micro Containment Zones and based on it a certain no of restrictions were eased in non containment zones.
In non containment zones Government opened non-essential shops yesterday onwards including liquor shops and eased the shop timings from morning 10.00 am to 06.00 pm. However it was found out that social distancing rules were flouted and there was chaos at some of the liquor shops and Pune Police Commissioner updated that Vehicles without a valid pass are not allowed as earlier including for purchase of liquor.
At the Greensville level, we all feel that we should be more watchful and wait until the steps taken from the authorities turn out to be really safe for us.
In line with this, many of the existing checks and controls will continue to be in place for Gera's Greensville however we have decided to relax certain rules gradually.
Updated security and safety model for our premises
1. As per govt. guidelines residents would still need a police pass to take vehicles out on road.
2. All residents who are permitted to work in IT and industrial areas can go out only between 7AM to 7PM. Please get in touch with MC for required facilitation.
3. Masks are mandatory before stepping out of the house.
4. Regarding movement outside the society, residents who choose to go out for any govt. approved reasons would need to continue to update their visit details at https://songofjoy.azurewebsites.net prior to moving out of the society for tracing requirements. Review of a request may take some time, please be patient regarding it.
5. However we would request the residents not to venture out unless it is absolutely essential.
6. MC teams are working hard to arrange for essentials inside the society. Residents who voluntarily do not venture out will continue to be able to use these provisions – medicines, vegetables, groceries, milk and bread within the society until the outside situation improves.
7. a) Residents planning to go out on foot for purchase of any provisions can request for a main gate identification pass valid for twice a week using this google form (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe5o43YZktxQNEd0pqM1lsadBnsp1Sv9IcDo7014FIMnuHwcA/viewform). Please note the purpose of this pass is to enable main gate security to identify the resident and trace entries for safety reasons.
b) Residents who go out of the society for supplies using the pass can purchase their provisions from outside the society and stock up accordingly. They shall not be allowed to use society driven essential services facilities via google forms/groups to reduce pressure on supplies and for safety reasons. They may be allowed at last only if stocks remain
c) For any prescription medicines that the current vendor is not able to provide and you are unwilling to go out fearing safety, you may get in touch with our SPOs who would try to arrange the same for you.
8. Only Milk, water and Gas delivery will be allowed at door step. The remaining to be collected at P1.
9. All Ecommerce vendor deliveries will be allowed till main gate only.
10. The Body temperature scan points are mandatory and no argument will be entertained. We are aware that you might have to await in queue if there are people ahead of you. Please maintain social distancing while you do so.
11. No guests or visitors will be allowed inside the society and the entry at the main gate will be restricted to residents and approved vendors only.
12. Entry to maids, drivers, cooks, etc. and usage of society common amenities within premises continue to be restricted.
13. MC will communicate any changes to the timings or guidelines based on PMC/Police communication as and when it happens.
