When installing false celing fixtures or electrical fittings in any of the rooms be extremely watchful of the fire sensor lines
Fire sensor lines are DC lines connected centrally to a monitoring panel at P1 level of every SOJ building
This monitoring panel highlights the flat number where incident may have occurred and initiates fire control system alarm
All rooms including kitchen and hall in Song of Joy are equipped with fire sensors which are sensitive to dense smoke that arises from any fire
In event of a pooja / havan at your home - please collect red caps from MEP technicians / security - to protect the sensor from alarming (false)
All the sensors are connected and any short in the lines can damage the entire circuitry - hence it is crucial to be watchful of the same
Ensure that your electrician is knowledgeable and understands how to distinguish between AC and DC lines - the builder has already color coded them
If your sensors fail to activate in case of a fire, the entire system is deemed useless and you are vulnerable to the risk
Owners who have faltered with the sensors must understand that they have done so at their own risk - builder and the society shall not be responsible for any loss or damage that this might bring onto them
In case if any owner(s) is(are) found to be guilty of faltering the equipment, causing damage to common monitoring panel (unknowingly or otherwise), the loss towards its repair and maintenance shall be recovered for the owners
