NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS
Regarding Collection of Share Certificate and Submission of Nomination Form
This is to inform all members of Gera’s Greensville Song of Joy A1 CHSL and Gera’s Greensville Song of Joy A2 CHSL that as per the provisions of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act and the Model Bye-laws of Cooperative Housing Societies, 2014, every member is required to:
Collect the original Share Certificate issued by the Society, and
Submit a duly filled and signed Nomination Form to the Society office.
The Share Certificate is a vital legal document issued by the Society that establishes your membership and ownership rights in the Cooperative Housing Society.
As per the CHS Bye-laws:
A member must hold the Society’s Share Certificate in their name.
The Share Certificate is required for any future transaction such as transfer, sale, mortgage, inheritance, or obtaining NOCs from the Society.
Non-collection of the Share Certificate may create administrative and legal complications at a later stage.
Members who have not yet collected their Share Certificate are requested to do so at the earliest from the Society office during working hours.

Filing a Nomination Form is mandatory under the CHS Bye-laws, 2014 and is extremely important for safeguarding the interests of your family and legal heirs.
Key points regarding nomination:
A valid nomination enables the Society to smoothly transfer the share and interest of the deceased member to the nominee(s).
In the absence of a nomination, the Society is required to follow a lengthy legal procedure, which may cause avoidable hardship to family members.
Nomination can be updated or changed by the member at any time by submitting a fresh form.
Members are strongly encouraged to submit their Nomination Form, if not already done, or to verify and update existing nominations if required.
See appendix 14 in the byelaws here: print 3 copies: submit them to the society office, the MC Chairman will sign and stamp the form, 1 copy stays with the society office, 1 copy is returned back to the owner and 1 copy stays with the nominees
The Management Committee requests all members who have not yet completed either or both of the above formalities to kindly do so at the earliest, in the interest of:
Smooth Society administration
Legal compliance
Protection of members’ and their families’ rights
The Society office will be happy to provide any assistance or clarification required in this regard.
