Guidelines for usage of elevators

SOJ elevators are maintained by authorized and certified technicians supported by the OEM. The implementation of the elevator is such that under any situation there shall not any catastrophic incident

• 1. Keep the elevator clean; if you happen to litter or spill something, inform the housekeeping staff or security to have to it cleaned, please suprvise that it gets cleaned

  2. On the lobby panel to call the elevator, press the button in the direction where YOU WANT TO GO - irrespective of where the lift is currently located

  3. Both the elevators are synchonized, as such the one on your route will serve you first

  4. In event of power failure, the lift shall pause for no more than 45 seconds, go dark and startup on the DG backup 

  5. In event of backup failure, the lift shall pause for no more than 45 seconds, go dark and startup, to reach the 

  6. All children below 12 years of age must be accompanied with an adult

  7. Educate all family members, domestic helps, and other on the emergency situations and mitigation plan - learn how to sound the alarm on the elevator when required
