*EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE of WATER TREATMENT PLANT*

Domestic water treatment plant sand filter, carbon filter and softener vessels are choked and need urgent attention.

The work has started and will be completed by 7pm.

WTP has to be shut down for this purpose.

We have some reserve water for domestic use but that may not be sufficient.

Please use water *very conservatively* until this activity is completed.

Assume that if the water is finished in our tanks the supply would resume only after 7pm.

CRITICAL UPDATE

WTP plant carbon filter to softener pressure has reduced to half

- this has reduced output flow of treated water to half

- indicating air bubble caused by clogged filters and strainers in the vessels

- last night the plant ran for 2 hrs and filled only 1 feet of treated water tank, which should be 2 feet instead

This is now urgent and needs to be undertaken today itself.

The vendor is starting now and will finish by 7 pm.

Our plant will resume treating water after that.

For now there is water in overhead tanks.

And treated water tank level is 6ft.

We will stop pumping water when level drops to 3ft.

Please advise all residents to use water conservatively / juidiciously and to note that water supply will resume after 7 pm only
